Casey began her career as a practicum student working with children diagnosed with Autism at Western Michigan University as an undergraduate. She went on to receive her Master’s degree and continued working at the same practicum site as a Teaching Assistant. Casey has taught several classes to undergraduates at Western Michigan University including, Concepts and Principles of Behavior Analysis, Survey of Applied Behavior Analysis Research, Autism Pre-practicum, Autism Practicum, and the Advanced Autism Practicum.
Since graduate school Casey has been responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of early intervention programs as well as intensive behavior and social skills training programs for non-public agencies. She has consulted to various school districts and has provided parent training to several families. Casey has also trained and supervised several staff on the concepts and principles of Behavior Analysis as well as practical implementation. Casey is currently the President of Understanding Behavior, Inc., New York Division, where she is responsible for overseeing all development and supervising all behavior consultants to ensure quality behavioral services to all clients.
