Providing strategies based in Applied Behavior Analysis to intervene effectively with acting-out behavior in adolescents.
Attendees will be able to:
- Understand and identify adolescent developmental challenges
- Select and define behaviors targeted for change
- Apply antecedent management strategies to prevent acting out behavior.
- Apply consequence-based strategies when acting out behavior occurs based on behavior function.
- Use reinforcement to increase positive behaviors.
- Apply family systems theory to behavior change
