UBI specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. We provide services locally and nationally, with corporate offices in San Francisco and New York. Our behavior consultation services are provided across a variety of settings ranging from youth group homes, adult residential facilities, private family residences, schools, specialized residential homes for individuals being discharged from developmental centers, day programs, supported living services, as well as other specialized programs. Our early intervention services are provided to infants or young children diagnosed within the autism spectrum or with qualifying developmental disabilities in a home-based program.

We closely with families and the circle of supports for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. In addition to the providing behavior consultation, we assist families in traversing the healthcare, school and social system to obtain the most program opportunities for the unique needs of their children’s needs.

All behavior has a function. Through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we work tirelessly to help the individual, family, programs, teachers, residential staff and supports to understand an individual’s behavior and develop strategies for change. We also take into account that each individual functions within a system of supports. As a result, we are always mindful of this system and its impact on the individual.
