Military Family Services
Understanding Behavior provides professional behavior consultation services to military families with children who have special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Through evidence-based, pragmatic treatment, consultation and teaching, based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we provide military families the opportunity to improve the independence, inclusion and overall quality of life of their special needs children.
Understanding Behavior is an approved ABA provider for active military families eligible for benefits under the Extended Care Health Option (ECHO) program. With professionals in all of TriCare’s major regions, Understanding Behavior has the capacity to support military families anywhere in the US and abroad
Echo is a cost-share program in which the cost share is based on the sponsor’s pay grade. Monthly cost-shares for ABA services are based upon the following chart:
|Pay Grade||Monthly Cost Share|
|E-1 to E-5||$25|
|E-9, W-1, W-2, O-3||$45|
|W-3, W-4, O-4||$50|
